Geschichte
The story
The brief
Kupferwerk had a hand-painted sign, a fax number and a very good reputation. Architects kept specifying its hardware without knowing how to find it.
The stamp
Every casting leaves the foundry with a small stamp. We redrew it as a Fraktur K inside a hairline square, then built the letterhead, delivery notes and site signs around that square and a strict two-column grid.
The result
The stamp is now cast into every part, and the spec sheet architects download is a single A4 that uses the same grid.
Now the work signs itself.
